As of today, the regulation abolishing the maximum age limit of 65 for holding various public positions comes into effect. This information was announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.

Specifically, the change pertains to positions in civil, customs, tax, and community service, as well as positions in the National Assembly staff and executive positions of state non-commercial organizations, directors of vocational educational institutions, and the head of the authorized body for personal data protection.

Under the new regulation, the possibility of continuing work in the aforementioned positions will no longer be contingent upon a person's reaching a certain age.

At the same time, legal grounds will be established in the laws
