VIDEO. Do Not Repeat the Mistakes of the Previous Parliament, Arayik Harutyunyan Urges the Opposition

MP Arayik Harutyunyan from the Civil Contract faction of the National Assembly has called on the opposition not to repeat the mistakes of the previous parliament and to focus not on regime change, but on the competition of ideas.

According to him, the best way to defeat the government is to present ideas to the public and shape a public agenda. If the government accepts those proposals, the opposition can present them as its own initiatives; if not, it can ask the citizens for their trust in the next elections, indicating that its proposals were not implemented.

Addressing the Armenia alliance, Harutyunyan also urged them not to engage in “constructive games” and not to repeat the mistakes of the former opposition.
