Pezejshkian Denies Resignation Rumors
The President of Iran, Masoud Pezejshkian, has denied recent rumors regarding his resignation during a televised address. He stated that he has no intention of leaving the presidency and will continue to fulfill his duties.
“If I decide to resign, I will make an official announcement. I do not intend to resign and plan to continue my assigned responsibilities,” said Pezejshkian.
The Iranian President also noted that certain circles, expressing positions differing from the country's Supreme Leader's political line, are attempting to create divisions within the country. Pezejshkian added that the government operates in full cooperation with Iran's armed forces and military structures.
