The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, in cooperation with other subdivisions of the agency, has conducted a series of operational measures resulting in the deportation of 55 foreign nationals from the country.

According to the agency, those deported include citizens from Turkey, India, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Somalia, Armenia, Sudan, Thailand, Egypt, Iraq, and several other countries.

According to current Georgian legislation, all deported individuals have been officially banned from re-entering the country.
