Zelensky Discusses Relations with Armenia and Azerbaijan

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Kyiv must establish strong relations with independent Azerbaijan. He also emphasized the importance of restoring communication with Armenia.

“We need to build strong relations with independent Azerbaijan. We support its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Additionally, this year, after a prolonged hiatus, we have restored ties with Armenia for the first time. All of this will help,” Zelensky said.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin's goal is to restore what has collapsed in the past, and the stronger and more independent the former Soviet states are, the harder it will be to realize that.

Zelensky also noted that Ukraine's presence in the territories of former Soviet countries contributes to strengthening the independence of those states, adding that Ukraine will continue to develop relations with countries in the region.
