Turkish Ship Hit in the Black Sea While En Route to Russia
A Turkish ship named Nadezhda, traveling from Turkey to Russia, was attacked by drone strikes in the Black Sea, according to TASS. The vessel, which was transporting fruits and vegetables from the port of Samsun to Novorossiysk, was attacked approximately 30 nautical miles from Novorossiysk.
As a result of the attack, four crew members were injured, including three Turkish nationals. A fire also broke out on the ship.
The ship's captain, Yalçın Şahin, stated that the attack was carried out by Ukraine, using 6-7 drones. He mentioned that the crew is waiting for assistance; all are in a safe condition, but there are injuries.
