The United States and Israel are discussing the possibility of implementing a ground blockade against Iran, according to TACC.

The British newspaper 'Daily Telegraph' reported this, citing senior Israeli sources. According to the publication, the option of a ground blockade is being considered as a means of increasing economic pressure on Iran.

The implementation of this plan will require the US and Israel to exert influence on Iran's neighboring countries to close border points or tighten transit conditions, thereby limiting trade with the Islamic Republic.

The newspaper notes that 'weak links' could be Pakistan and Iraq, which are not strong allies of the US in the region. At the same time, Iran's other neighbors, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Turkey, could face retaliatory actions from Tehran, including military threats, should they join the American-Israeli program.

The 'Daily Telegraph' emphasizes that the Trump administration is considering the ground blockade option as the current military tactic of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open has been exhausted. A White House representative stated that 'all possible options are on the table' under Trump.
