Search for Missing Soldiers Will Be a Long and Complex Process, Medvedev
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, has stated that the search for soldiers who went missing in the Ukraine war will take a considerable amount of time. He made this remark during a meeting with participants of the "Guards" all-Russian youth forum.
"As we all understand, work in this area of search will take quite a long time. Unfortunately, this is the case during any war," Medvedev noted.
According to him, a unified search detachment has already begun work on the search for missing soldiers under his direction. Medvedev described this activity as a new, very complex, but extremely responsible direction.
The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council also emphasized that search operations must be conducted in accordance with all safety requirements and in close cooperation with military units. Medvedev indicated that an agreement has already been reached in this matter with the Russian Ministry of Defense, and investigative bodies should also be involved in the search efforts.
