Wedding Ends in Brawl: One Person Hospitalized

On July 16, a dispute and brawl occurred in the Ararat region. Around 23:50, the Community Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received operational information that a citizen with injuries to the hand and head was admitted to the "Masis" medical center due to the brawl.

According to Shamshyan.com, authorities from the Masis Police Department established that the injured individual was 46-year-old Serob T., a resident of the Ararat region.

Reports indicate that as a result of operational investigative measures carried out by the Masis Police Department, it was determined that on the same day around 23:00, several individuals, namely 37-year-old David G., 46-year-old Serob T., 43-year-old Sahak T., 43-year-old Masis P., a resident of the Kotayk region, along with unidentified participants of a wedding ceremony, grossly violated public order and displayed blatant disrespect towards society, engaging in a physical altercation in the parking lot of the "Morena" restaurant complex.

During the dispute, they exchanged sexual insults and physical blows, resulting in injuries to Serob T. Subsequently, Serob, Sahak T., David G., and Masis P. were arrested on suspicion of hooliganism and taken to the Masis Police Department. Their case, along with the documentation, was submitted to the Masis investigative division of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Based on the incident, the Masis investigative division initiated criminal proceedings under the 2nd part of Article 297 and the 5th point of Article 171 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. It was revealed that two residents of the Ararat region, 22-year-old Aren H. and 49-year-old Armen H., under the influence of alcohol, had also shouted sexual insults and inflicted blows on Sahak T., causing bodily injury.
