A powerful explosion has been reported in the Izmaylovo "Kremlin" area of Moscow, followed by a fire.

Local residents have reported hearing the loud sound of the explosion. According to local media, it is presumed that the area was subjected to a drone attack.

Earlier reports indicated that Ukraine launched the most extensive strike on Moscow since the start of the war. It has been reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted Russia's oil infrastructure with drones.
