Russian Woman Disappears After Exiting Zvartnots Airport
A 69-year-old woman, Lyudmila Levanova, who arrived in Yerevan from Moscow, has disappeared after exiting Zvartnots International Airport. The Russian Embassy in Armenia informed Sputnik Armenia that Levanova, a native of Russia, arrived at Zvartnots on the morning of May 13, but her whereabouts became unknown after she left the airport.
Levanova was traveling from Moscow to Chișinău, with Yerevan being a transit point where she was supposed to spend 1.5 hours.
Her daughter, Anna, reported via social media that her mother arrived in Yerevan at 06:34 AM. Airport personnel were expected to meet the retiree to assist her with transportation.
According to family members, Levanova may have gotten lost or left the city in an unknown direction. Reports circulating on social media suggest that she has health issues and suffers from dementia.
