We Will Continue Preparing for War: Lukashenko
The armed forces of Belarus will continue targeted mobilization operations aimed at checking and improving the combat readiness of specific military units. This announcement was made by the country's President Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting with Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin, where the results of large-scale inspections of the army were summarized.
According to the state leader, although Belarus is committed to a peace-loving policy, the armed forces must always be ready for possible military actions. Lukashenko emphasized that Belarusian soldiers will continue to 'prepare for war'; this will be a continuous process, with targeted mobilizations serving as one of the main tools of this effort.
During the meeting, the president expressed hope that the military leadership would draw appropriate conclusions regarding the shortcomings registered during previous inspections. He pointed out the need to address these deficiencies, noting that the process of modernizing and improving the army should not be limited to just the conducted events.
