Russian Embassy Comments on London's Statements Regarding Armenian Elections

The Russian embassy in London has dismissed the claims made by the British government regarding alleged Russian interference in Armenia's elections as absurd.

In a statement to TASS, the embassy described Britain's assertions as nonsensical in the context of London's overt neo-colonial policies. The diplomatic mission noted that against the backdrop of Western European propaganda actions in Yerevan, the accusations of interference become even more illogical.

According to the embassy, London's neo-colonial policy, which previously facilitated the state coup in Kyiv, is now directed against Armenia. The Russian side emphasized that the West must cease its interference in the internal affairs of sovereign countries, citing recent developments in Moldova and Romania as examples.

“The heart of a thief trembles,” diplomats concluded.
