‘Pashinyan can’t appoint the right people to responsible positions’: Gagik Tsarukyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is unable to appoint the right people to responsible positions, resulting in the failure of state governance, stated Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, during a pre-election campaign in the city of Hrazdan, Kotayk province today.
He also ruled out post-election cooperation with Pashinyan, saying, “I exclude that because in public, when we all expected the principle of justice, I stood by his side with the people. Remember? I went to the square and said, ‘Dear people, we need change today. Who will you vote for: Sasun Mikayelyan, Ararat Mirzoyan, or Nikol Pashinyan? Because those were the three faces, and everyone shouted: Nikol Pashinyan. I said we stand until the end; we choose Nikol Pashinyan as Prime Minister.’ He said, ‘The people are not material for punishment, Artsakh is Armenia, and that’s it,’ and so on.
We were partners with them, but we did not fulfill what he said because it was unacceptable. He immediately took our ministers out of the stage—are we not responsible for what has happened today?”
Tsarukyan did not specify which statements of Pashinyan were unacceptable.
