EU Call to Businesses for Investment in Armenia
The EU has made a high-level call urging business entities to invest in Armenia. Today, the EU announced a statement calling for businesses to invest in the Armenian economy. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this announcement during a joint declaration with European Council President Antonio Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
"As a rule, throughout the entire previous period, since independence, Armenia has been considered a risky investment zone. Now the EU is making a high-level call urging business entities and investors to invest in Armenia. This is also a historically significant fact because we have never issued such a call or heard such messages from many of our international partners before," he stated.
