Canadian Prime Minister Leaves Question About the Return of Armenian Prisoners Unanswered
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has left unanswered a question regarding the return of Armenian prisoners held in Baku. During his visit to Yerevan today, May 4th, Prime Minister Carney did not respond to a question posed by NEWS.am near the Sports and Concert Complex concerning the return of Armenian captives.
It is noteworthy that the relatives of Armenian prisoners in Azerbaijan had previously addressed an open letter to the head of the Canadian government, who arrived in Armenia. They called for the involvement of a senior Canadian official in charge of prisoners’ issues and requested support for the immediate and unconditional release of individuals held in Baku.
