Iranian Officials Have No Other Choice, Says Trump

US President Donald Trump has stated in an interview with CNBC that he does not wish to extend the ceasefire agreement with Iran, which is set to expire on Wednesday.

Trump announced that the deadline for the ceasefire with Iran runs out this Wednesday and he does not intend to prolong it. “We don’t have much time. Iran could achieve very good results if they make a deal,” he said.

According to the US President, Iranian officials “have no other choice” but to engage in negotiations.

The President also indicated that during the ceasefire, the US military has bolstered its supply of equipment and is ready to resume attacks against Iran. Trump emphasized that they are fully armed, possess the necessary ammunition, and used the ceasefire to replenish their supplies. He added that the opposing side has likely done the same, but American troops are prepared and “seek battle.”
