Karapetyan's Case Transferred to Judge Involved in High-Profile Cases
The case of Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of the "Strong Armenia" party, has been transferred to the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia with an indictment conclusion. Vahe Dolmazyan, who has handled various high-profile cases, including those of David Tonoyan, Hovik Abrahamyan, Armen Ashotyann, Arusyak Aleksanyan, and Erik Aleksanyan, will preside over this case.
In 2024, then-Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan submitted a request to the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia regarding the disciplinary responsibility of Dolmazyan. He previously served as a prosecutor and was the prosecuting attorney in the case of Manvel Grigoryan.
