Netanyahu Failed, Says Lawmaker
The leader of the Israeli opposition, Yair Lapid, has criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for entering into a ceasefire agreement with Iran. According to him, while the military has met all challenges laid before them, and the public has demonstrated high resilience, Netanyahu has experienced a diplomatic and strategic defeat and has failed to achieve any of his stated objectives.
“Throughout our entire history, there has never been such a political disaster. Israel wasn’t even at the table when decisions were being made regarding the essence of our national security. Netanyahu has politically failed, strategically failed, and has not fulfilled any of the goals he himself set. It will take us years to restore the political and strategic damage caused by Netanyahu due to arrogance, negligence, and a lack of strategic planning,” he stated.
