Russia Transfers Highly Confidential Information to Iran; No Response Yet from the US
Russian satellites captured images of a number of military and strategically significant sites in the Middle East in the last days of March, which were subsequently targeted. This is reported by Reuters, referencing a Ukrainian intelligence report.
According to the data, imaging of 46 sites in 11 countries was conducted from March 21 to 31. Among the mentioned sites were US military bases, airports, and oil fields. It is reported that just days after the imaging, these areas were struck by Iran using ballistic missiles and drones.
Notably, nine of the recordings took place in Saudi Arabia, where the THAAD missile defense systems are located. Additionally, sites in the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Kuwait, Israel, Qatar, Iraq, Bahrain, as well as the Diego Garcia military base were monitored.
It is also reported that Russia continues to carry out active satellite monitoring in the Strait of Hormuz region.
