Iran Will Respond to Attacks on Its Infrastructure: Araqchi
The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has stated that the threats of attacks on Iran's energy facilities by the United States could be considered an admission of war crimes. This was reported in a statement from the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
"Iran will respond to attacks on its infrastructure; we will target similar facilities belonging to the U.S. or related to it," said the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
Araqchi made this assessment during a conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, emphasizing that such statements indicate violations of international law.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also noted that during military operations, the U.S. has struck the country's industrial and energy infrastructures, as well as educational, medical, and nuclear facilities.
According to him, the UN Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency must urgently condemn the U.S. actions against Iran. At the same time, the claims presented have not been accompanied by independent verification.
