Competitions Were Formal, $3000 Required: Educator Addresses Nikol Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has published a letter he received from a citizen, in which the individual writes:
“I have always wanted to work in my profession as an educator, but the competitions were formal, and a minimum of $3000 was required. After the revolution, my confidence increased. I applied three times, was persistent, fought, and got a job. Thanks to voluntary certification and my rank, I tripled my salary in a short time.
My daughters have gone from the region to Yerevan; they are students. They study at a paid institution and live on rent, but simultaneously both are working in their profession. My husband is also constantly engaged in work.
All four of us earn more than 201,000 AMD and benefit from universal health insurance. As my husband says, in the past, we had to spend a lot of money to secure jobs for our children. Naturally, we still face many challenges, but we trust in God. We are grateful for the great opportunities provided.”
