War and Peace: There Are Two Agendas in the Political Arena, Says Alen Simonian
Today, there are two agendas in Armenia's political arena: peace and war. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, during a press briefing with reporters.
According to him, on one side is the approach of making demands against neighbors, and on the other side is the agenda of establishing peace in the region.
“This is about political agendas and positions. If you center it around Nikol Pashinyan's persona, then yes, let Nikol Pashinyan be considered a symbol of peace, I am not against it,” Simonian said, referring to the Prime Minister's statement that if the “Civil Contract” is not elected, then there will be war.
Simonian noted that politicians can make political analyses, while the Prime Minister, having access to relevant information, can make such predictions as well.
