Iranian Leader's First Message Released: Raising the Flag of Revenge at All Costs
An address from Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has been circulated by Iranian media, where he stated that Iran will seek revenge for its martyrs. "We make a pact with you—to raise the flag of revenge at all costs, which is the main banner of the front of truth. We will not renounce the revenge for the blood of the martyrs," the message read.
Khamenei also addressed the issue of compensation. "In any case, we will receive compensation from the enemy. We will take as much of their property as we decide. If that is not possible, we will destroy as much of the enemy's property," he stated.
The address indicated that Iran has 15 neighboring countries and aims to have warm and constructive relations with all of them. "However, the enemy has created military and financial bases in certain countries over the years to secure its dominance in the region. During the recent attack, some military bases were used, and as we previously warned, without attacking those countries, we struck only those bases. From now on, we will be forced to continue this work, although we still believe in the necessity of friendship with our neighbors," added the Iranian leader.
Khamenei also emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz must remain closed.
