Peace with Armenia is Permanent: Aliyev
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has stated that peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia exists not only in documents but also in practice. He made this remark during a joint press conference with European Council President Antonio Costa.
According to Aliyev, peace with Armenia is permanent. He emphasized that there has been noticeable activity between the parties in recent months, particularly in the trade sector, which he believes indicates the potential for cooperation.
Aliyev noted that in some cases, peace may remain only enshrined in documents; however, he assesses that the situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia is different. He mentioned that progress is being observed in the process. At the same time, Aliyev did not specify what exact steps he was referring to but highlighted that there has been positive dynamics recorded in recent months.
