Major Car Accident on Yerevan-Yeraskh Highway: One Fatality

On March 10, at 23:17, the Ararat regional operational management center received a report that a traffic accident had occurred on the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway, involving a trapped citizen in need of rescue.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a BMW vehicle had veered off the road and collided with a parked KamAZ truck.

Rescue workers freed the driver from the wreckage and brought him to an ambulance; however, he was later hospitalized at a medical center where he succumbed to his injuries.
