Iran Launches New Wave of Missile Attacks
The state television of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRIB) reports that Iran has initiated a new wave of missile attacks. No details have been provided regarding the targets or the number of missiles launched.
This escalation follows the appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as the successor to his father in the position of Supreme Leader of the country.
“Under Mojtaba Khamenei’s leadership, Iran has launched the first wave of missiles towards occupied territories,” the statement from the state television reads.
Additionally, air raid sirens have been activated across much of central and northern Israel, including in Tel Aviv and Haifa, as reported by the Civil Defense Command.
