Precipitation to Resume: Snow, Rain, and Blizzards Expected
Precipitation is expected in various regions of the Republic of Armenia on March 5 and 7-9, with snow in mountainous and foothill areas, and rain mixed with snow in valley regions. Blizzards and low horizontal visibility are also expected in mountainous regions. This information was provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
In the morning hours, there is expected to be icy conditions on some of the country's roads. On March 6, dry weather without precipitation is forecasted.
Winds are expected to intensify in certain areas on March 6, with speeds of 13-16 m/s. Air temperature is expected to remain relatively stable.
In Yerevan, dry weather is also forecasted for the afternoon of March 5, as well as on the 6th and 9th. However, precipitation is expected on March 7-8 and the night of the 9th, with snow during night hours and rain mixed with snow during the day. On the afternoon of March 5, Yerevan will see temperatures ranging from 7-9 degrees Celsius, dropping to 0...+2 degrees Celsius in the evening.
