Peskov on Intent to Demand Territorial Concessions from Kyiv in Geneva Talks
The Kremlin has announced its intention to demand territorial concessions from Kyiv during the Geneva talks. Putin's press secretary, Peskov, noted that the delegation will be led by the president's assistant, Medinsky. He stated that 'key issues' related to territories will be discussed during the meetings.
Moscow has previously insisted on the handover of the entire Donbas region, which it has been unable to fully occupy. Peskov added that due to an expanded agenda, the talks should be conducted by the 'chief negotiator.'
