Negotiations Discussed Only Nuclear Issues: Araqchi
The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced that discussions with the United States in Geneva focused exclusively on nuclear issues, and the parties have agreed to continue their communication.
"The negotiations were centered solely on nuclear matters," Araqchi stated. He noted that "the talks will continue, but a date has not yet been set." Araqchi claimed that "good progress has been made compared to the previous meeting."
“However, when it comes to drafting an agreement, the work becomes more challenging,” emphasized the Iranian foreign minister. He also mentioned that both sides understand that aligning their positions will require “some time.”
“This process may culminate in an agreement,” Araqchi concluded.
