Negotiations Between Moscow and Yerevan Are Ongoing: Khandanyan
During a press briefing, member of the National Assembly from the "Civil Contract" faction, Sargis Khandanyan, addressed the ongoing negotiations between Moscow and Yerevan regarding the renovation of two sections of Armenia's railway.
In response to a journalist's observation that it has already been determined that the sections under Russian management, which need renovation for overall unblocking, will be handled by the Russian side, Khandanyan stated that he cannot make or confirm such a declaration.
"Negotiations are ongoing, and you know that what is most essential for Armenia is that this happens quickly, because we need to unblock our infrastructure with our neighbors as soon as possible. Therefore, regarding the timelines and details, I think we should see the Russian side's views and then make a decision. I cannot say at what stage the negotiations are," he said.
