Russia will create a more effective counteraction capability if the United States deploys long-range missiles in Germany. This was stated by Alexander Grushko, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister, in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper.

“If they embark on creating a military capability against the Russian Federation, they must understand that the same, or even a more effective counteraction potential will be established. The balance of military deterrence that takes into account national interests and the security of all parties will be replaced by a balance of threats and counter-threats,” emphasized Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko.
