Enriching at the expense of the country's defense or throwing 'asabnyaks': Aleksanyan to the opposition
Vahagn Aleksanyan, a member of the Civil Contract parliamentary faction, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Defense during a recent National Assembly session for its extensive work. According to him, the results of this work are finally visible to the citizens.
Aleksanyan noted that in recent days, the public has been discussing three videos from the Ministry of Defense concerning military equipment acquired from India, military equipment produced in Armenia, and the fortifications built along Armenia's borders.
“Dear citizens, if you haven't yet watched them, make sure to do so and see what can be built for the country's defense, to enhance the country's defense capabilities, if your mindset is about protecting your country rather than enriching yourself at the expense of its defense and dropping 'asabnyaks' in Sevan or other scenic places in Armenia. 'Asabnyaks' should be for our soldiers, and not in a 'comfortable' sense, but in terms of being 'defensible' and 'strong',” said Vahagn Aleksanyan.
National Assembly President Alen Simonyan responded that Suren Papikyan should also be thanked for the drones presented during the visit of the U.S. Vice President to Armenia, emphasizing that this is also a result of the work of the Ministry of Defense and the minister.
