Vice President Vens Discusses Prisoners and Armenian-Azerbaijani Issues in Baku
The visit of U.S. Vice President James Vens to Armenia has concluded. He is now heading to Baku, where he answered questions from journalists.
Addressing the agreements reached between U.S. President Donald Trump and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Vens stated, "Numerous investments will come to Armenia as a result of some agreements signed by Trump and Pashinyan. One of these is the creation of a data center, which has already begun, and it could amount to up to 4 billion U.S. dollars in investments. Many jobs will be created," he said.
The U.S. Vice President also spoke about Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, specifically referring to the issue of prisoners. "We have good relations with both countries. Naturally, there will be discussions regarding those detained in Baku. We have a good relationship with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Various issues will be raised in Baku. I believe we will successfully continue our work with both Armenians and Azerbaijanis," added Vice President James Vens.
