Vardenyats Pass Impassable Due to Fog and Low Visibility
As of January 31, at 17:20, all republican and inter-state roads in Armenia are open. The organizations responsible for road maintenance continue to work on clearing the roads and treating them with salt and sand. This information has been reported by the Road Department.
Light snow is falling in the regions of Ashtarak, Aparan, Spitak, Ani, Artik, Akhuryan, Ashotik, Yeghegnadzor, Sisian, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, and Martuni.
Dense fog is present at Vardenyats Pass, with visibility reduced to 10-20 meters. Due to the fog and low visibility, Vardenyats Pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers.
