Precipitation Expected in the Form of Snow and Mixed Rain
In the territory of the Republic, precipitation is expected in individual regions on January 31 and February 1-4, with mixed rain anticipated in pre-mountain and valley areas, and snow in mountainous regions. In certain mountainous areas, blizzards and reduced horizontal visibility are also expected.
The wind will be from the southwest at 3-6 m/s, with strengthening expected in some areas on January 31 and February 1-3, reaching speeds of 17-20 m/s.
On the night and morning of January 31, fog is forecast for low-lying areas of the Shirak plain, as well as in the pre-mountain regions of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, including the Ararat plain.
The air temperature on January 31 and from February 1 to 3 is gradually expected to rise by 6-8 degrees.
In Yerevan, precipitation in the form of snow and mixed rain is anticipated from the afternoon of January 31 and continuing through February 1-4. Fog is expected on the night and morning of January 31.
