Energy Supply Gradually Restored in Ukraine
Energy supply to critical infrastructure has been restored in several regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, following power outages, announced Energy Minister Denis Shmyhal. The incident also affected Moldova's electricity grid.
"Electricity has been restored to critical infrastructures in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and the Dnipropetrovsk region. The next phase will be the gradual restoration of electricity for residential consumers," he wrote.
At the same time, the electricity supply to ordinary residential buildings in Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, and Odesa regions is already being restored, Shmyhal emphasized. However, in some areas, emergency power outage schedules continue to be enforced due to a lack of electricity, he added.
