Defense Ministry Official Accused of Bribery for Exempting Individuals from Military Drills
A public criminal prosecution has been initiated against the head of one of the units of the Armenian Defense Ministry's Armavir military commissariat and three other individuals. The defense ministry official is accused of receiving a substantial bribe in exchange for organizing the illegal exemption of individuals required to participate in military drills.
A request has been submitted to the court to apply detention as a measure of restraint for the defense ministry official, which has been granted. This information was provided to Auroranews by the Anti-Corruption Committee.
