Azerbaijan Discusses Relationship Normalization with Armenia
Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the agenda for current and future cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO was discussed, including working frameworks for partnership mechanisms as well as regional and international security issues.
The discussions also addressed the normalization process of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring sustainable and long-term peace in the region, confidence-building measures, agreements reached during the summit in Washington on August 8, and the prospects for peace.
Information was also provided regarding regional transportation and communication projects.
