Negative Temperature Anomaly Extends, Says Levon Azizyan
It has not happened for a long time. The negative temperature anomaly extends nearly 7,000 kilometers. This information was shared by Levon Azizyan, the director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, on his Facebook page.
“On January 23, cold weather will establish itself in the area stretching from Amsterdam to Chita. The length of this anomaly is approximately 6,600 km. The epicenter of the frost will be in the Middle Urals, where on the morning of January 23, temperatures will be 20 degrees lower than normal, reaching a minimum of -37 degrees,” he wrote.
