Export of Used Catalytic Converters from Armenia to Cease
From January 5 to July 5, 2026, the export of ceramic waste from used automotive catalytic converters will be halted in Armenia. This decision was adopted during a government session, which established that the ban aims to enhance environmental protection levels by reducing harmful emissions from vehicles operating without a neutralization system. Additionally, it seeks to prevent the illegal circulation of automotive catalytic converters, as stated in the rationale of the decision.
