Torosyan Responds to News About Raising Retirement Age
The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, made a post on his Facebook page regarding announcements that the authorities are planning to raise the retirement age.
“The latest self-proclaimed ‘expert’ is once again feeding the public another lie amidst traditional hybrid attacks, claiming during a live news broadcast that we are planning to raise the retirement age. And he does this with such seriousness on his face and an overdose of fabricated arguments that one begins to wonder about his acting skills. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also recently addressed this issue during a government meeting, clearly stating that such a matter is not under discussion. I will not hesitate to reiterate: this is yet another shameless lie in broad daylight,” wrote Arsen Torosyan, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia.
