Alen Simonian Addresses the Issue of Armenian Prisoners and Civilians Held in Azerbaijan
Alen Simonian, the President of the National Assembly, has addressed the issue of Armenian prisoners and civilians being held in Azerbaijan. He stated, "We have repeatedly said that we do not publicly and loudly speak on this topic. However, no meeting, whether with the Azerbaijani side or international representatives, takes place without bringing up the matter of returning prisoners and detained individuals," adding that the same applies to the issue of the missing persons.
According to him, work in this direction will continue until the issue is resolved definitively. "And I see a tendency towards a positive solution," emphasized the President of the National Assembly.
