Immediate, Free Transport of Azerbaijani Oil Products to Armenia: Georgian President
Georgia will not impose customs duties on the first transit of Azerbaijani oil products to Armenia. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
"The Government of Georgia has received a request from partner countries for the one-time transit of fuel from Azerbaijan to Armenia through Georgian territory," the announcement stated.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has instructed the Georgian Railways to immediately transport the cargo free of charge. Officials have been informed of this decision.
