Hakan Fidan Discusses Turkey's Position on the So-Called 'Zangezur Corridor'
Several agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the agreement signed between Azerbaijan and the United States, have created a very positive picture for the region. This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in an interview with the local TGRT Haber publication.
According to him, the Azerbaijani side has conducted consultations with the Turkish side regarding the meeting and the agreements that took place in Washington. The minister noted that Turkey's position on the so-called 'Zangezur Corridor' is based on mutual trust, emphasizing close cooperation with Azerbaijan on this issue.
“Currently, there is nothing concrete regarding the 'Zangezur Corridor.' The parties will discuss what will happen and how the situation will develop. Our position is based on trust. We trust our Azerbaijani brothers,” Fidan stated. He also praised Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's position on this issue.
