What Doors Will Open for America After the Armenian-Azerbaijani Agreement?
The spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, Themi Bruce, announced in a press briefing that the bilateral economic agreements signed by Azerbaijan and Armenia with the United States will open new opportunities for the American people and businesses.
"The leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia have also signed bilateral economic agreements with the United States, which reveal the significant potential of the South Caucasus in trade, transit, energy, infrastructure, and technology, thus creating new opportunities for Americans and American companies," said Bruce.
Bruce also highlighted that the document signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan affirms that "President Trump is indeed the president of the world."
"President Trump continues to demonstrate that many nations can overcome prolonged conflicts and move toward a shared future of peace, prosperity, and success," he added.
He also noted that Donald Trump is committed to establishing lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"The whole world knows that President Trump seeks long-lasting peace between countries, regardless of the duration of conflicts or battles. At the same time, as we have seen, he remains pragmatic. His approach is based on diplomacy. However, he is ready to do everything necessary to fully exercise his powers as President of the United States and put an end to wars," said Themi Bruce, spokesperson for the U.S. State Department.
It is noteworthy that on August 8, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint statement regarding the meeting of the Azerbaijani President and the Armenian Prime Minister in Washington. One of the points of the document refers to the unblocking of the transportation route through Armenian territory between the main part of Azerbaijan and its Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
