Over 2000 Vehicles Stranded on Yerevan-Sevan Highway
A significant traffic jam, approximately 4 kilometers long, has formed in the administrative area of Hrazdan on the Yerevan-Sevan highway, causing over 2000 vehicles to be unable to move for the past hour and a half. This situation has arisen due to a major blockage on the route leading to Sevan, as reported by shamshyan.com.
The reason for the blockage remains unclear; however, several drivers have suggested that it may be due to asphalt work being conducted by road construction crews. While it is commendable that the construction workers are doing a good job, it is puzzling that they are well aware of the high volume of traffic heading to Sevan during weekends and in the summer heat. Therefore, one must question whether it was wise to create chaos at this hour.
