Russia is Preparing for a Large-Scale Offensive: CNN

In a matter of weeks, Russian troops are set to launch an intensified offensive. This information comes from the American news outlet CNN. According to the publication, Russia has concentrated a force of 160,000 troops in immediate proximity to the contact line.

The report indicates that the Russian Federation aims to take advantage of a 50-day pause before potential sanctions are applied by the United States.

“In the last two weeks, Russia has managed to strengthen its positions in the directions of Pokrovsk, Kupiansk, and Konstantinovka. The 50-day timeline gives Russia ample time to develop its alternative plans and once again outmaneuver Washington through diplomatic means,” said John Loft, head of the Foreign Policy Division at the New Eurasian Strategies analytical center.
