A New October 27 Has Been Prevented: Pashinyan
It is important to note that a crime preparing against our statehood, security, and stability has been uncovered. This was announced by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“This morning, I discussed the issue with the President of the Republic. I believe it would make sense to present awards and state honors to the most effective employees of the NSS, the Prosecutor’s Office, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” he said.
According to Pashinyan, a massive volume of information has been released, and at this moment he has nothing more to add beyond what has been published. “I am confident that an effective investigation will take place, and our law enforcement agencies will inform the public about the further developments,” he added.
“I want to draw our attention to one issue. One thing caught my attention from yesterday’s discussions: a group of users noted that a new October 27 has been prevented in Armenia, while another group raised the question of whether, in 1999, the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Armenia could have prevented the October 27 terror attack. This is a question for which we should try to formulate an answer in a reliable manner. I hope that our law enforcement system will also make efforts to find the answer to this question,” concluded Pashinyan.
