New Details Released by Investigation Committee on Bus Driver Assault Case

Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the assault of the driver of route 31 in Yerevan. This information was provided to Auroranews by Kim Avdalyan, the spokesperson for the Investigation Committee of Armenia.

“A criminal case has been initiated regarding the assault on the driver of route 31 under part 2, point 7 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code (causing medium bodily injury by a group of individuals). There are 2 arrested individuals,” stated the spokesperson of the Investigation Committee.

It is worth noting that the incident was first reported on June 11 by Hayk Costanyan, the spokesperson for the Mayor of Yerevan. He mentioned that a report had been submitted to the police. The city hall expects that those responsible will be punished to the full extent of the law.
